慢慢读Read slowly

1国王纳闷：「公主的舞鞋每晚都破了，她们去哪儿跳舞呢？」一位好心士兵说：「让我跟着看一看。」The king wonders, "Why are the princesses' shoes worn out every night?" A kind soldier says, "Let me follow and see."
2夜里公主们打开暗门，走过闪亮树林，来到地下金光舞会。士兵悄悄跟在后面，看得目瞪口呆。At night the princesses open a secret door, pass sparkling trees, and reach a golden underground dance. The soldier tiptoes after them, amazed.
3天亮了，士兵把秘密轻轻告诉国王。公主们也说：「我们只是太想跳舞了。」At dawn he softly tells the king. The princesses say, "We just love to dance so much."
4国王笑了：「那就办一场公开舞会吧！」大家手拉手跳舞，舞鞋再也舍不得藏起来。The king smiles: "Then let's hold an open ball!" Everyone dances hand in hand—no more hiding shoes.
