1拇指儿只有拇指那么大。他爱爸爸妈妈，总想帮忙干活。Tom Thumb is only as big as a thumb. He loves Mom and Dad and always wants to help.
2有一天他跟爸爸去森林找蘑菇。他藏在口袋里，用叫声指路，像玩躲猫猫。One day he goes to the forest with Dad to pick mushrooms. He hides in a pocket and calls out directions, like a game of hide-and-seek.
3路上遇到大风和迷路的小动物。拇指儿想出小办法，带大家安全找到路标。They meet strong wind and a lost little animal. Tom thinks of tiny clever ideas and helps everyone find the trail markers.
4他们抱着蘑菇回家。全家一起吃饭，夸拇指儿又勇敢又聪明。They bring mushrooms home. The family eats together and praises Tom for being brave and smart.
