1乌鸦叼着一块奶酪停在树枝上。狐狸仰头说：你的羽毛真漂亮，再唱一句吧。A crow holds a bit of cheese on a branch. A fox looks up: Your feathers look lovely—won’t you sing a little?
2乌鸦一开口，奶酪掉下来。狐狸捡到后心里不好意思：我不该用好听的话骗人。The crow opens its beak and the cheese falls. The fox picks it up and feels sorry: I should not trick with sweet words.
3狐狸把奶酪还给乌鸦，并认真说对不起。乌鸦说：谢谢你道歉，我也不再随便信奉承了。The fox returns the cheese and says a real sorry. The crow says: Thanks for apologizing—I won’t trust empty praise so fast.
4他们一起坐在草地上分小点心。狐狸说：诚实比好听的话更重要。They sit on the grass and share a small snack. The fox says: Honesty matters more than flattery.
