大海像一栋很高很高的楼，每一层住着不一样的动物。往下滑一滑，越往下越黑哦。The ocean is like a tall building. Different animals live on each floor. Slide down — it gets darker!

暮光层Twilight zone
光线越来越少，像太阳下山的傍晚。这里没有海草了。很多动物身上会自己发光，就像带着小灯。Light fades like sunset. No seaweed here. Many animals glow like they carry tiny lamps.
小秘密：大王乌贼Giant squid的眼睛有一个篮球那么大，是动物里最大的眼睛之一。
深海午夜层Midnight zone
一点阳光也没有了，黑漆漆的，海水冷得像冰箱里一样。鮟鱇鱼Anglerfish头上挂着一盏“小灯笼”，等小鱼游过来。No sunlight at all — cold and dark like a fridge. Anglerfish hang a little “lantern” to lure fish.
小秘密：抹香鲸能一口气潜到 1000 多米深，下来抓乌贼吃。Secret: sperm whales can dive over 1,000 meters to catch squid.
深渊和海沟Abyss & trenches
海底有很深很深的大裂缝，叫做海沟。最深的马里亚纳海沟大约有 11000 米，把珠穆朗玛峰放进去，山顶都碰不到海面。Deep cracks on the seafloor are called trenches. The Mariana Trench is about 11,000 m — even Mount Everest would fit under the surface.
小秘密：这里的海水压力特别大，像有好多头大象压在身上。可是小飞象章鱼Dumbo octopus和狮子鱼照样住在这里。
到底啦。大海最深的地方，只有很少很少的人去过，那里还藏着好多秘密。We reached the bottom! Very few people have been here — lots of secrets remain.

丢在海里的渔网和绳子，会缠住海豹、海龟Sea turtle和鱼，让它们游不动。
塑料很难消失Plastic lasts a long time
一个塑料瓶在海里要几百年才会慢慢变碎，碎成小小的塑料渣，还是会被小鱼吃掉。科学家估计，每年有大约一千万吨塑料跑进大海。A plastic bottle can take hundreds of years to break into tiny bits that fish may still eat. About 10 million tons of plastic enter the sea each year.
